The Diocese of Fond du Lac formally entered into a companion relationship with the Diocese of Masvingo, Zimbabwe, a province of the Anglican Church of the Province of Central Africa, at the diocesan convention in 2016. In 2021 the two dioceses renewed their relationship for the 2022-2026 period.
The Companion Relationship Committee of the diocese, according to its purpose statement, assists churches and members of both dioceses "to expand their understanding of one another and nurture long-lasting friendships at all levels of the Church. We desire to encourage each other to live our Anglican identity in proclaiming the Good News of the Gospel in our local communities and within our cultural contexts."
St. Luke's is deeply committed to supporting the ministry of the Diocese of Masvingo and strengthening its friendship with the clergy and congregations there under the leadership of Godfrey Tawonezwi. In 2019 St. Luke's hosted Bishop Godfrey, his wife Albertina, and the diocese's vicar general, Ven. Friar Fungayi Nyandoro during their tour of the Diocese of Fond du Lac. In 2021 St. Luke's began offering financial assistance for various projects in Masvingo, including well drilling and an irrigation system at St. David's Church in St. Anthony Mission District Madeu.
